Isabela López Ramírez is a UK-based South American composer for film, TV and games.
Growing up travelling across South America, she was immersed in a wide range of musical traditions and trends that continue to shape her creative voice. These life experiences deeply impacted her worldview, and sparked a curiosity in all styles of music. Her scores blend this global view with her piano roots, drawing from orchestral, ambient and world music influences.
Her work has featured in award-winning films such as Amuse Bouche and The Attic, and she was awarded 3rd place in the 2024 Winter Indie Film Composition Competition.
Each project is approached with curiosity and emotional insight, crafting music that enhances storytelling and resonates with audiences. For her, composing is not just about writing notes — it’s about connecting cultures, feelings and stories through sound.
